after a very boring/busy week, you may be wondering what i've been up to....or not. :) we had something most dreadful happen last week. our sweet and loving chow chow dog, Dixie, we were forced to put down after 14 years. i will not bore or depress (for you animal lovers like myself) with the details and symptoms of her many illnesses, but it had to be done. it was hard letting her go, and we all miss her most desperately.
as for something on a lighter subject, i've been getting pumped up for the Maiden's Quest conference this Fri.-Sat.! also, i have been frantically trying to find a dress to my liking. upon much looking in vain, i stumbled upon the rememberence (prompted by my mom) of a lovely never-been-worn dress at the back of my closet! i was perfectly delighted upon this treasured find!! so, now with a dress to wear, i'm more excited than ever!
if any of you have not yet guessed why my URL is jer2911-14, it is because Jeremiah 29:11-14 is one of my most beloved verses! here it is:
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD...

i will admit though, i'm having trouble remembering it, are any of you? i would love to it if you would help with some ideas on how to shorten it!

also, what are some of your favorite Bible verses?! please tell me, and for those of you who don't have a blogger account, just email me!
